Second_assignment_excel

On 3rd February we need to do our second assignment -- excel.

Firstly, to know the gred.

We need to define name of the tray.
select tray > formulas > define name > new name > name ( gred )
We can see at green highlighter. N7 --> GRED

After that, click at the place that we want to add gred (green highlighter) > formulas > insert function > select a function (vlookup) > ok
The function arguments dialog appear.

Look up value: The place that we want to add gred

Table array : Gred

Cal index num: 2

Range look up: True

For same column, just need to drag it. while different column, need to copy and paste.

To get the rank, first need to define name the tray of jumlah (red color).
then click on the yellow color, and insert > fuction > insert function (select a category (all) )> select a function (rank).
number : 233 (from jumlah tray)
ref: JUMLAH (tray name)
order: logic.

Then the other just drag it.

Before do a graph, we need to do a table. We use “count if” to count the number of A, B, C and D of every subject.
insert > fuction > insert function (select a category (all) )> select a function (countif)

“Count if” is to count the number if cells within a range that meet the given condition.
Given condition here is – “A”
A range is 1
We need to do 1 by 1 for B, C and D.

After doing the table, we can select the table (in brown color circle) > insert > chart > column. Just follow the wizard. We need to know which part we want to do graph.

Then we can change the chart components by exploring the wizard. This wizard will help us a lot in order creating a good presentation.
