What is WebQuests

WebQuests is an inquiry-oriented activity that student need to find the information from internet sources.

Precreating WebQuest

Make sure your Internet Explorer is IE7, if you do not have IE7, you can use Firefox.

Registration of WebQuest

First enter the address "http://webquest.org". Then click Create WebQuests (1). Then, at title QuestGarden clik here (2).

As it is costly and we are learner, so it is enough for us to use the trial version. So, click Register for 30 day trial. So what will happen after 30 days? After 30 days we will no longer be able to edit our WebQuest, but we will be able to download them as zipped archives.

Creation of WebQuest

Then, we just need to follow the instructions. After we have done the registration, we can create our own WebQuest. First click Create a New WebQuest (3)

We will see a row of menu. That is a template of creating a WebQuest.

First we must set our title, goal and who is our learner. Then we may continue by create the webquest. Every template contains the advices and samples. The advice and sample is very helpful to us as a beginner. Besides the icons of each function on the menu bar are same with the icons in Microsoft Word. Therefore, it will make teacher feel familiar and may hand on faster.

Follow the template step by step. Finally, done!!

As conclusion WebQuest is an interesting technology-based learning. However, teacher need to be creative and diligent to make a good webquest.
