12th January was the first week of kuliah.
First kuliah was Method of Teaching by Prof. Madya. Dr. Rashidi Azizan. He introduced the course and briefing us about micro teaching. We will be divided into 3 big groups, then divide into 4 people in small group. A small group needs to find a topic, and each people have to present it in different teaching method namely lecture, experimentation, demonstration and group work. Then he discussed how to give a good lecture. Dr. Arbaa’at Hassan asked us about the goals of science education in Malaysia. He also told us about his story and how to be a good teacher. One of the criteria of a good teacher is can mix with the community.
